Spring/Summer 2018 RTW – Safe to say Red is essential next year

It is amazing what outfits land on the catwalk these days and how not one is similar to another. I have scanned the spring/summer 2018 fashion show and there are some amazing looks from 5-Knot to Valentino, each of the looks I have picked are things I believe are ‘Ready for me to Wear’ but with a splash of red!

Firstly, a look by 5-Knot that covers patterns and materials that are to die for. This time, the dress has coat like qualities. It is a beautiful burgundy/red colour that is utterly beautiful! And who knows maybe latex socks will be the new multimillion dollar trend…

Secondly, Saint Tokyo, which is my favourite collection this season. Absolutely adore Japanese themed patterns! Red is everywhere and I think it really compliments this outfit. Take a look.

Next is, Valentino with quite a bit of Red, I love this look because of the different shades of red. I particularly like the shoulder covers and the tie at the top of the outfit as it adds individuality and it is quirky.

The bag is very much Valentino’s style with the silver studs. This look is gorgeous together.

Giorgio Armani is always interesting on the catwalk and adds a splash of colour this time. I love that the look can be worn whenever but has an elegant edge to it!

I have to add an extra look from my favourite designer, Zuhair Murad. It is one of my favourite looks, of course, but I would say it is a ‘going out look’, by far! Although Im pretty sure if I had owned this outfit i would definitely not take it off.

I would say Red is massive as a trend at the moment and honestly it can give you a block of colour that completes the look!

Nice post. So much red worn in so many different ways and shades. I find the Saint Tokyo outfit intriguing the mixture of the print and texture of the shiny and the cut outs is a really cool combo šŸ™‚
